18th Century Italian Baroque Carved Polychrome and Giltwood Wall Mirror
About the Item
Add a dose of Baroque drama to your home with this elegant antique mirror. Crafted in Italy, circa 1780, the wall hanging mirror features an arched top embellished with a carved cherub figure flanked by foliage decor on both sides. On either side, the mirror has two rectangular panels decorated with hand carved floral and leaf motifs. A beautiful red and black polychrome finish and gold leaf further embellish the frame. The old tabernacle is in excellent condition with original mercury glass and wooden backing. Wire in the back for easy installation.
