Luciano Frigerio (Desio, May 21, 1928 - Sanremo, April 11, 1999) was an Italian designer, artist and musician. Over the years, he collaborated with some famous Italian architects and designers including Franco Albini, Sergio Asti and later Paolo Portoghesi. Luciano Frigerio asked them to design furniture to be made in the workshop, from handcrafted specifications, with numbered and signed series, with the conviction that an architect can also design a piece of furniture as a unique piece of fine cabinet making and not just furniture for industrial production. Many pieces of furniture and objects designed by Frigerio can be found in important art galleries in Italy and abroad.
