About

This early 19th century mirror is either English Regency or American Federal. The finely sculpted giltwood and plaster-composition frame is in the form of two cornucopia brimming with sheaves of wheat. The undecorated areas have a speckled faux-finish over the gilding, and the mirror plate is an old replacement.
