Maiohgi Fan Shaped Wall Mirror Contemporary Limited Edition Color
About the Item
Maiohgi is a fan-shaped contemporary wall mirror, whose surface rests on a colorful graphic border with Bauhaus references. Created by Jacobsroom Studio in Rome, the accessory is completed by six magnetic segments in very light metal mesh that can be attached to the mirror's surface, capable of reshaping it according to the user’s interpretation.
MAIOHGI is inspired by the Japanese art of dance and meditation, where the movements of the fans highlight the gestures of the actors.
The MAIOHGI wall mirror evokes this spectacle and translates the concept of an expanding fan into diaphanous segments of metal meshes invisibly attached to the mirror. Magnets hidden inside the frame hold these gauzy origami pieces in a precise fan-like geometry so they seem to float over the reflective surface.
Frame decor made of perfectly smooth CNC cut stoneware.
Hand-crafted, backing made of recycled paper and wood. Simple wall-mounting.
Customization options:
