They were used inside the houses for decorative reasons and to visually expand the rooms, in addition to reflecting the light increasing the effect of candles and lamps (for this reason, sometimes, they had candelabras in front). The method of making mirrors from sheets of glass was discovered in Venice in the 16th century, and was kept secret until about a century later, at which time the role of mercury in the process was known in London and Paris, allowing the Expansion of these elements. However, the use of cornucopias did not extend through Europe until the Rococo, maintaining its use and creation ever since. Size: 48 x 23 x 80 cms. Weight is orientative.
