This is probably the finest surviving Gillows State Bed of the 19th century. Purchased privately from the catholic Salvin family for whom the bed was made this superb example of English cabinetmaking has been subject to extensive cleaning and restoration of all the original fabrics in order to enhance and maintain the rare original condition of this a museum item of furniture.

Comes with a Fine moire silk quilt,
