A Classic bamboo silhouette, the Palm Island bed features hand carved palm frond finials and bamboo detailing throughout. It is shown in our specialty honey stained maple finish with hand painted ebony detailing. The Palm Island is also available in solid stain options, alternate pricing below in options.
This bed is offered in standard sizes and a variety of wood types and finishes. For an updated look consider our ebony stain. Available with or without the canopy.

Scott James Furniture and Design
Scott James Furniture & Design specializes in hand-made furniture covering a range of styles and fabrication techniques. We are most known for our four poster beds using traditional mortise and tenon joinery available in a range of styles from Contemporary to Traditional. We also work in case and accent pieces, side tables and dining tables, utilizing complex joinery, veneers and even caning and intricate carving. We work out of our Tiverton Rhode Island workshop with a group of expert craftsman. We primarily work in domestic hardwoods such as walnut and oak but also specialist in mahogany and other more unique species. We primarily work with Architects and Interior Designers and are open to custom fabrication and projects. Founded in 1984, we have a long history of making modern American heirlooms, with an attention to detail, craft and quality.
