These wide Danish teak nightstands—originally produced by Lyby Møbler—have been fully reimagined as one-of-a-kind custom creations, transformed through an artisan restoration process that elevates them far beyond standard mid-century examples. Each piece is now as much functional sculpture as it is furniture, striking a balance between historical authenticity and bespoke modern craftsmanship. 30" Wide x 16.75" Deep x 16 3/4 Tall Unlike typical vintage nightstands, these examples have been meticulously adapted into unique originals. Brand-new, custom-fabricated legs were designed specifically for this project and installed with insert nuts, ensuring both structural longevity and elegant proportion. The result is a stance that feels airy and architectural while enhancing stability and visual poise. Finished on All Sides Every surface has been considered. These nightstands are fully finished on all sides, allowing them to float in a space rather than be restricted to wall placement. This feature not only increases their versatility—as bedside companions, living room side tables, or gallery-style pedestals. Craftsmanship & Restoration The original teak cases were carefully sanded and hand-oiled, reviving the wood’s golden glow and dramatic grain patterning. Drawers glide with ease, fitted with Lyby’s recessed pulls that keep the design sleek and tactile. The open lower cabinets remain versatile, offering display potential for books, ceramics, or art objects.
