- Regency Mahogany Childs Chest of DrawersLocated in Bedfordshire, GBA delightful regency period mahogany childs chest, having well figured top over two short and three long drawers with replacement brass knobs, raised on original splayed feet with elegant shaped apron. Childrens furniture is generally found much less often rarer than its full size and scale counterparts for many reasons, the most obvious of which being that there was simply far less of these effective scale models produced. Generally childrens furniture was made to the same specifications, but on a smaller scale, for the children of wealthy families to have and to use. From a purely practical perspective it is the perfect size to be used in a whole host of different spaces around the home, but would make an excellent modern day coffee table type item alongside a chair, or sofa. As with all items which we offer for sale this childs chest of drawers...Category
