An exceptional Quality Regency Period Miniature mahogany centre, or breakfast table, having superbly figured circular tilting top over turned central column and elegant four splay base, retaining original brass castors. Sometimes there is debate as to the original purpose of antique miniature furniture. There are predominantly two types, that which was made as an apprentice piece and that which was made as a salesmans sample piece. There was also some miniature furniture of a particular scale which would have been made as dolls house furniture...

Crafted in the early 20th century, this petite Guatemalan children's chair charms with its playful asymmetry and blend of motifs. Influenced by Spanish Colonial furniture design, the painted chair has an angular back and square seat resting on two hand-turned legs. The low seat is the perfect height for a youngster, but we love this petite chair as a low side table or tabletop display...

The vintage miniature wood and metal child's swing works well for retail display purposes. Hardwood slats connected by dowel sticks make up the seat which hangs from iron rods. At the top are brackets with holes for securing the swing to a ceiling or beam. A horizontal iron bar at the top holds the brackets in place. Can be used in a child's room to hold doll or stuffed animals. Great toy display.
