19th Century Swedish Tall Column Shaped Clock

About the Item

This Swedish 19th century grey with slight green clock is unusual in that its shape very much brings to mind a marble victory column. The clock retains it's original metal face. The general color tone is a grey with hints of green. The trim is of a darker grey. The bottom, sitting on a carved footer, is rectangular with straight lines and crisp corners. The middle section has an oval-shaped front and has an inset door that’s almost hidden. Above, sits the clock’s head, which is carved with a decagon shape, that of a ten sided polygon. Unusual, but alluring in its simplicity, this clock is a true treasure. It has been quartzed with a high quality movement to keep perfect time.
