A Mid-19th Century English gun powder flask wrapped in leather with silver spout and monogrammed silver plaque "ALAN". The spout has a lever that opens the interior to pour the gun powder out and has "Dixon & Sons 1856" written on it. "James Dixon & Sons Sheffield" is stamped on the top.

Date of manufacture circa 1856.
