Antique French Cast Iron Wall Shield, C. 1890
Located in Dallas, TX
A fascinating iron shield that was cast in France, circa 1890, this round armorial piece features a central conical umbo (sometimes called a “shield boss”) surrounded by a 360-degree scene depicting a military engagement.
