    The first and only example of a walnut lamellar propeller of the Savoia Marchetti SM 85 prototype flown for the first time on 19 December 1936 by Adriano Bacula, the company's test pilot. During the tests some modifications were made, including the change of the propeller from wooden two-blade to metal three-blade. On the prop it reads: SAVOIA MARCHETTI 85 B.G.
