An important monograph on the Polish born/American painter and printmaker Julian Stanczak (1928-2017). Included are essays by Rudolf Arnheim, Harry Rand and Robert J. Bertholf. First edition. Stanczak was a highly-regarded Op-Art painter known for his brightly-colored ("radiant"), geometric compositions. His work is in many American museum collections including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and The Museum of Modern Art, New York. A valuable reference book in very good condition.
