There was a wave of prosperity and consumerism and the designers were keen to rethink furniture and living space in the context of new technologies developed in war industries. The book features many of the great names of midcentury European and American design including - Andre Arbus, Sue et Mare, Jean Michel Frank, Jean Prouve, Finn Juhl, William Haines and Gio Ponti. Hard back with dust jacket, 233 pages illustrated mostly in color. This is the English translation.
