Large format first edition monograph on blue-chip Kinetic artist Jesus Rafael Soto, published by Editions du Griffon in 1984. Inscribed in a bold hand by the artist to renowned art historian and critic doré Ashton. Text by Marcel Joray and Soto in Spanish and English. 273 pages with illustrations throughout. Cloth boards with dust jacket. A handsome first edition copies with a scarce inscription and important association. Near fine. Now in a protective Mylar cover.
