This 352 page book is a comprehensive survey of the more than 50 of work of husband and wife sculptors, Francois-Xavier and Claude Lalanne. Offering an insight into their use of natural elements and animals as their models and inspirations and the differing ways in which they worked. Many of their pieces turned out to be functional, with sheep, gorillas, rhinos all taking their turns. Lavishly illustrated throughout with color and black and white images.
