Large Collection of Faux Antique Books

About the Item

A spectacular 6m total run of late 20th century faux antique books, reclaimed from a museum exhibition. Arranged in runs of various sizes as pictured, the groups vary from single books to the longest run of 27 books which are affixed to a wooden board. Imitating old antique books, these faux books are perfect for interior décor and display. Place on shelves to create a unique library bookcase, style creatively to conceal a secret doorway or use as props for theatrical performances or film productions – the possibilities are endless! This is just one set of large faux book runs we are selling, each made of resin/composite book spines in various colours and attached to manmade board, imitating aged Victorian and Georgian library books. Highlights of this collection include cream, blue-grey, green and red spines and humorous and amusing titles of natural history and historical interest such as “Waiting in the Cold Vol. 2: Still Shivering” and “What Planets are Wearing this Season”.
