A very good hardback book with a dust jacket in excellent condition. 143 pages with 120 full pages color plates showing examples of ceramics, silver and glass ware, by designers such as Ettore Sottsass, Mateo Thun and Marco Zanini. Memphis, which was founded in 1981 as a contemporary Italian design movement, who were looking to provide individually designed pieces rather than mass produced, this beautifully photographed book illustrates some of the designs from the early years 1981-1987. Text in French.
