19th Century French 14-Karat Yellow Gold Lapel Watch

About

Ladies' 14-karat yellow gold lapel watch. The watch contains a 7-jewel Beaumont movement associated with a white ceramic dial with roman numerals, set in a 31 mm round, open-face case #50807. The watch case shows a solid dust cover with an open filigree fleur-de-lis design back cover and has a bright polish. The watch is associated with a 14 karat yellow gold lapel pin of French Second Empire design, measuring 70.0 x 35.0 mm and is composed of hinged panels of open floral filigree fleur-de-lis design with hand-engraved bright-cut details and a bright polish finish. The pin shows a hinged-bar back with a fine chain safety with pin clasp. The original box bearing the name of Beaumont et Cie. of Lyon, one of the grand jewelers of 19th century France, is included. DWT 33.00 Measures: 5 x 1 3/8 x 3/8 in. watch 3 ½ in. chain/pin.
