This elegant Miao silver ceremonial necklace, realized in Laos in the late 19th-early 20th century, is from the HMong Village "Luang Pranbang" (in the northern Laos).
This precious necklace is composed of five semicircles which emphasize the importance of the original family and presents decorations influenced by Chinese Buddhism; the symbol of Tao is represented surrounded by pairs of balanced dragons.
Realized of a low silver alloy, in excellent condition, this artwork was made for who loves ethnical chic vintage objects.
