About

Montana Agate Bolo Tie On Malachite. The most essential elements of life wind through Studio Greytak’s Montana Agate Bolo Tie on Malachite. A lariat necklace featuring a polished triangle of earthy agate lies between the pristine blue of watery turquoise and the glowing fire of amber. This sacred trio is echoed in the rust-red rutilated quartz, blue-green apatite, and a blazing peridot. And one more time, earthy brown leather leads to deep golden and brown bands in Montana agate set between smoldering strawberry quartz and a deep pool of sparkling topaz. Opposite this trio, a shining piece of peridot rises over a jet-black obsidian pendant, the never-ending cycle of night and day balancing all these elemental forces. Malachite, the stone of sacred universal connection, provides the perfect base for this ode to the divine pattern of creation. The fiery reds often seen in agates harken back to its molten past. Made in the pockets of air formed in lava as it bubbles and cools, agates consist of bands of silica gel that snuck into the cavities through centuries of dripping water. The iron oxide and manganese rich soils of the Yellowstone River basin created the distinct colors and patterns of this Montana agate. Agate stabilizes the inspiration of artists, protects mothers and children, and brings maturity. Agates have a slow vibrational frequency, which makes them very calming. They are helpful for those juggling multiple commitments. Ancient Greeks called Amber “electron,” meaning “sun-gold,” for its ability to acquire an electric charge when rubbed. An organic gem made of fossilized resin principally from extinct coniferous trees, it has long symbolized success and divinity. It helps people get in touch with their own essential strength and security. Warriors in civilizations spanning the globe and history have relied on the power of turquoise. Throughout the ages, people believed the stone derived these immense powers from the ultimate source—the heavens themselves. Turquoise is said to change color to warn its wearer of impending illness or danger. It is a holy stone, capable of bringing good fortune and wisdom. This powerful guardian should be kept where one can feel its strengthening energy and heed its cautionary signals. Red quartz is a powerful motivator, providing an abundance of physical energy and vitality. When strands of titanium- and iron-based rutile cross through the same quartz, a new sense of purpose emerges. Rutile in quartz slices to the root of problems and inspires courage and the drive to overcome the challenges at hand. The watery apatite, created beneath long-dried seas, is a stone of truth. It provides clarity in the face of challenges and facilitates quick, effective learning. Those who participate in public speaking may wish to carry apatite, as it enhances communication skills and encourages extroversion. Couples can use it to dissolve the emotional distance between them. Peridot is born of fire in the molten rock of the earth’s upper mantle and brought to the light by the tremendous forces of earthquakes and volcanoes. It has been prized since the earliest civilizations for its protective powers to drive away the forces of darkness. It is a powerful manifesting stone and is said to bring increase of wealth, health, joy, and abundance. Strawberry quartz glows with the power of love. Far from the ethereal, tender variety, though, this is the robust, life affirming, joyous kind of love that will make even the most boring day-to-day interactions special. Wearing a piece is thought to attract true love, especially the kind that will push one to expand their horizons and challenge their outdated beliefs. Topaz is one of the most ancient healing stones. Roman rulers believed it was linked with Jupiter and brought them power and wisdom. Ancient Egyptians believed it was the symbol for Ra, the sun god and giver of life. Topaz brings luck and good fortune, including wealth and greater understanding. Place it under your pillow to ward off nightmares, put it in your pocket for safe travels, or wear it close to dispel cowardice and anger, attract friendship, and live a long life. Obsidian is intense and holds nothing back. Used properly, it is a highly protective stone that can access and relieve old griefs and allow one to recognize and banish internal demons. Healers and shamans separated by continents and eons have all come to the same conclusion—obsidian is a spiritual mirror for those who dare to look. It can reveal the past, the future, or the depths of the soul. Keep obsidian nearby to enhance intuition and foster growth and resolution. Malachite is one of the strongest stones for protection against negative energy. Romans wore eyes of malachite to ward off evil spirits. It also enhances willpower and strengthens our ability to take action on our thoughts and ideas. Malachite carries the frequency of the enlightened leader and reminds us of our power to manifest with the Universe. Keep this powerful piece prominently displayed in a bedroom for pleasant dreams and protection while you sleep. When worn, the tie will protect and ground while attracting abundance, love, and bringing an electric magnetism to its wearer.
