An 1858 Colton's map of New York Ric.b011 Colton’s New York, 1858 - A large original color engraved and very detailed map of the state of New York, with seven insets: Oswego, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, Troy and New York City. The main map in center has typical pastel coloring of counties and insets are large but not colored. This is a rare and hard to find map with the very decorative spiral motif border in excellent condition, plate numbers 32 and 33 from one of Colton’s School atlases.
