Antique Ship Model "Flying Cloud"

About the Item

Antique early twentieth century model of the American clipper ship Flying Cloud by Thomas Rosenquist of Far Rockaway, New York. He has works in many museums. Famous builder from the past. With carved figurehead, anchors, capstans, etc.. Rigged with a full suit of sails, wrap around railing on stern. Varnished deck. Sails have a few splits, as to be expected as model is ninety years old. Model cradle has a bracket for wall mounting. Circa 1925.
