Early 20th Century French Desk Telephone

About the Item

This is a French Model 1910-No.1366 Desk Telephone. It depicts a square wooden tall box with a metal handset connected at the top. A long cord join the handset to the generator in the wood box. This is a hand-cranked telephone. A metal plaque in the from of it reads: Propiete de L’Etat Concours du 7 Juil 1926, Lot 21. Modele- 1910. Four round metal and rubber made feet support the telephone.
