Original Lord & Taylor 5th Avenue Christmas Window Display

$1,80047% Off

Lord & Taylor has been a 5th Avenue landmark for over 100 years. This flagship store was an important part of “The Avenue” and will be missed. We had the good fortune to discover one of the original 5th Avenue Xmas window displays. Thousands would line up every season to see these holiday windows. It was a New York tradition that has sadly come to an end. It was created and hidden in storage for years. We can't date it but it looks to be early and in wonderful condition. It's only missing one small cherub. Everything is there. It was an important architectural backdrop depicting a wall of pipes from an church or theatre organ. Own a piece of New York History.
