Rare 19th Century Anglo-Indian Bone Inlaid Miniature Slant Front Desk

This rare and charming miniature slant front chest is created in the Georgian style with elaborate bone and veneer inlay as well as certain details in the oriental style. The chest features an inlaid slanted front opening up to an interior fitted with small drawers and pigeon holes thus creating a small writing surface. An unusual feature is the low frieze drawer between the pullout / pull-out supports.
