Baby Grand Piano, Art Deco with chinoiserie fairytale Rogers & Sons, London, 1932 To turn this beautiful `Rogers´- grand piano back into a professionally playable condition that moreover reflects its historical significance, the following work was be carried out: Acoustic system • Measuring the scale, removing the string reference • Recalculate bass scale • Making new bass strings • Replace string cover and tuning pins completely while maintaining the string tension, inharmonicity and load • Straightening the string reference and tuning to pitch • Revise soundboard Action and Keyboard • Dismantle and clean the action • Replace worn out jacks and whippen axes • Completely replace hammer shanks • Replace hammer heads, prick and peel off • Cleaning and polishing the keyboard • Completely renew frame felts • Polishing damper heads, renewing damper felt • adjust (Set new) damping • re-adjust the pedal system • Rebuild action, straighten hammer heads • Regulate the play mechanism • Balancing the play weight • Tuning, voicing and working out the instrument Material: • Hammer heads custom made historical Renner company • Hammer handles special production historical Fa.
