About

Weetamoe was constructed by the Herreshoff shipyard according to plan by Clinton Crane for defence consortium of the Americ's Cup, referred to George Nicholls of New York Yacht Club. It raced for the choice of defender in 1930 and 1934. Measures: Length 37m, width 6 m with draught 5 m. It was demolished in 1937. Cm 193 x 75.2 (H) - inches 75.98 x 29.60 (H). Project coming from the archives of Uffa Fox and never entered the commercial circuit.
