About the Item
19th century painted porcelain Madonna in original handcrafted oak shrine is the perfect choice for your private devotional area. Designed to mount on the wall or to sit on a surface, the hand-sculpted shrine features multi-tiered molded detail with columns flanking the main arched opening. The beautiful detail of the Madonna in pure white porcelain has been enhanced by the painted hair and gold accents of her raiment as well as the pedestal which is integral to the sculpture.
Left hand is missing, sold as is,
circa 1870s.
