Delightful and rare camera set, with superb display appeal Displays a desirable aged patina original condition - some light leak to bellows Select stocks present deep caramel hues, accompanied by warm brass tones Articulated tripod can be set to various heights, with three stages of extension to the legs At its most compact with a folded height of 43cm (17''), extending to a 96cm (37.75'') maximum Camera opens out from a usefully compact folded form, staying open with twist catches Replete with a quality screw-in lens, with bright objective in good condition Set of Eight slide plates add further period interest, as does the brass Watkins Exposure Meter Unmarked as such, but in the manner of the contemporary McKellen's patent camera This is a fascinating antique box field camera and tripod, with charming accessories for those who hold an interest in 19th Century photography.
