We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely John Cary Travel Celestial Globe in Box marked Cary & Co London, No. 21540
This globe I believe is classed as a 14 inch which is the diameter all around the globe, top to bottom it is 5 inches
This piece was retailed by George Lee & Son opticians, 33 The Hard Portsmouth, there is an engraved plaque to the base reading Cary & Co, the globe is detailed as Makers to the Admiralty 7 Pall Mall London
The condition is well worn as per the pictures but in fantastic condition compared to some others that I have seen, the wear and patina is very light
