Magnetic Compass for Topographers Made of Brass

About

Rare and particular ancient magnetic compass for topographers, made of brass; instrument consisting of a magnetized needle free to rotate on a horizontal plane, marking with its point the direction of magnetic north, compass card complete with a goniometric circle engraved in 360 °, complete with the compass needle block, sight, inclinometer from 0 to 90 °; signed Peigné, made in the late nineteenth century. Excellent condition. Measurements diameter 7.5 cm, thickness cm 2.2. Shipping insured by Lloyd's London; it is available our free gift box (look at the last picture).
