Oasis 'Be Here Now' Original UK Billboard Album Promo Poster, 1997
Located in Devon, GB
An oversized UK promotional poster featuring photography by Michael Spencer Jones for the 1997 release of Britpop band Oasis' third studio album 'Be Here Now,' following the worldwide success of 'Definitely Maybe' (1994) and '(What's the Story) Morning Glory?' (1995). Predominantly written by Noel Gallagher during a Caribbean holiday with Kate Moss, Johnny Depp and Mick Jagger, the hotly anticipated release became the fastest selling album in British chart history. The album cover artwork featured a shot of the band in the garden at Stocks House in Hertfordshire, positioned around a white Rolls Royce floating in the middle of a swimming pool in a symbolic statement of rock and roll excess. Photographer Michael Spencer Jones, who had previously shot the band's first two album covers, later recalled: "It was an expensive shoot, that. An hundred grand shoot and record companies don’t spend that kind of money making one photo. It’s not normal... Maybe for a Pink Floyd cover but it’s a big budget for an album cover. You don’t spend that much recording an album... Originally, it was an homage to Keith Moon. A bit of rock and roll surrealism, I suppose." This impressive billboard poster...

It is road registered at the moment and being run in. Taken from Wikipedia:- T 100 motorcycle The Tiger 100 (T100) was a standard motorcycle first made by the British motorcycle company Triumph in 1939. Production ceased when the Triumph factory was destroyed by German bombing in 1940 during World War II but recommenced in 1946. Several variants were manufactured until 1973. With the sales success of the Triumph Speed Twin, Edward Turner, Triumph's motorcycle designer, looked further into developing the potential of the new parallel twin motor...

Antique Golf Club Walking Stick, Sunday Club.
Located in Oxfordshire, GB
Antique Sunday Club, Golf Club Walking Stick. A desirable walking cane with the handle in the shape of a left-handed longnose styled golf club head. The gentleman's walking stick has a persimmon socket head handle with a pegged horn insert and a lead weight to the rear. The crown of the club head stamped with the 'plume of feathers' and a 'Lion' cleek mark. It is with hickory shaft with black and white hosel bands and a brass ferrule at the end. The ban on golfing on the Sabbath, Sunday, had the effect of the club makers producing walking sticks for canny golfers. They fashioned the canes with a golf club head as a handle and they became known as 'Sunday Clubs' or 'Sabbath sticks'. It is said that on the Sabbath a Sunday Club owner, when nobody was looking, could still enjoy a crafty putt or swing. Dimensions: Height 96 cm / 38" Width 10 cm / 4" Depth 4 cm / 1 3⁄4" Period 1900-1949 Year Circa 1930's Medium persimmon & hickory Country United Kingdom Condition Possibly a later replaced shaft.
