About the Item

A large magnificent Scottish red deer stag taxidermy mounted hunting trophy labelled verso "Killed in matte Woods, March 1951". Measures: Height 54 x width 39 x depth 41 The adult male stag is mounted on an oak armorial oak shield and is presented with its large antlers. A wonderful addition for the game lodge or a country house decor theme. Condition: In excellent condition. As antique items, the pieces show signs of use commensurate with age, these minor condition issues are mentioned for accuracy and, as seen in the accompanying photographs, the trophies display beautifully.
