Luxury Exotic Wood and Bronze Dugout by William Stuart for Costantini Design

About the Item

Luxury Exotic Wood and Bronze Dugout by William Stuart for Costantini Design 3.75" H x 1.75 W x 0.5" D Costantini founder William Stuart has bought, lost, gifted and abandoned dozens of dugouts throughout his adult life. After 6 years of prototyping a luxury dugout, he sold out the first 20 made in less than 24 hours and has now put them into regular production. Compatible with most pipes for sale at most smoke shops and designed specially for discreet and handy transport and use of marijuana. It includes a ceramic pipe simulated to look like a cigarette. Made with love in Argentina where most people don't know what this is (yet). About William Stuart: William C Stuart (b. 1975, Bronx, NY) is an American artist currently working in New York, with a studio in the West Chelsea Arts Building. Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Colgate University with Honors in Studio Art and was the recipient of the John F Fitchen III Art Prize in 1998. Worked independently in Paris in 1995 and 1998. In 2002, he founded Costantini Design with workshops in the US and Buenos Aires. His works span sculpture, furniture, video, painting, photography and writing, among others. About Costantini: Costantini is a furniture design and manufacturing company founded in 2002 by artist and designer William C Stuart. The name Costantini comes from his maternal grandfather, a first generation Italian-American. Born in New York City and raised upstate, William majored in studio art at Colgate University with a year abroad in Paris, graduating with honors. In 2001, he traveled to Buenos Aires and fell in love with the culture and craftsmanship instantly. He designed his first collection soon after and opened an art and design gallery in Los Angeles. A decade later, he came home to New York and now has a studio in the famed West Chelsea Arts Building where his works blur the lines between art and functional design. The team of artisans continue to produce the majority of the furniture in Argentina. Aside from private collections, some notable public projects include the Hotel Bel Air, the Sultanate of Oman, Bergdorf Goodman, NoMad Hotels, Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, and Grand Hyatt. Our work has been featured in publications such as Architectural Digest, Galerie Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, Interior Design Magazine, Luxe, and more.Visit us at our New York studio, open by appointment.
