French Early 1900s Wooden Construction Game, Beautiful Architectural Details


This is a French early 1900s wooden construction game wooden game with 3 drawers, "l'architecte moderne" manufactured between 1900 and 1930 in France by JFF. It has incredible architectural details, with spindles, stainglass windows, roofs, clock and more. In 1904 and 1905 there were 5 game/toy makers that merged (Mauclair-Dacier (MD ) , Simonin-Cuny (S.C), Wogue et Lévy ( AWGL), Perret Paul, and in 1905 Delhaye Frères) into a new company " Jeux et Jouets Français " (JFF) that lasted until 1931.

    The box is in good shape consistent with a game that has been loved and used for over 100 years. The windows are good, but wobbly. The set seems complete, but has no been built to verify. The prints are good, but have foxing and some tears.
