Original Danish Kay Bojesen Toy Wagon "Family Trip", Colorful Beech Wood, 1950s

About the Item

Kay Bojesen´s "Family Trip" is one of his most loved wooden toy designs. This set is original vintage. It consists of wagon and 4 family members: mother, father and two children. The Danish designer Kay Bojesen (1886-1958) designed this set in the 1940s or 50s and they were manufactured in this period. It's made from beech wood and each family member has its own color. He designed many different wooden pieces, toys and furniture, for children. His idea was to keep it simple so that the child could freely express its own imagination. This set shows traces of happy playtimes. Full of charm and ready to be played with. Stamped on bottom: Kay Bojesen Copyright Denmark.
