About the Item
Offered is an absolutely stunning toy castle, it is a beautiful example of early 20th century trench folk art, German handmade craft. The architectural detailing in the crenellated towers and torches flanking the staircase as well as the hand painted details make this piece really stand out. Made of wood, hand crafted out of all kind of different wood, as cigar boxes, furniture parts and all kind of other things. This makes us believe that it was made from a soldier for his son. A nice addition to your collection or just to display in your room.
