Tan Leather Bookends Mounted with Gilt Bronzed Dolphins, Italian circa 1940
About the Item
These are a beautiful, pair of Tan Leather book ends, mounted with gilt bronzed metal dolphins, which we date to the mid 20th century.
The bookends have been beautifully modelled in a tan coloured leather with each piece having a mounted stylised metal bronzed and gilded dolphin.
We cannot find any markings on the bookends but attribute these to a quality Italian maker, made in the mid 20th Century circa 1940.
