18th Century Hand-Painted Venetian Style Aquamarine 3-Panels Otello Screen
$3,942.07per item

About
From our Hand-Painted Furniture Collection, we are pleased to introduce you to our aquamarine otello screen with ochre chinoiserie vignettes.
A hand-painted screen evokes the luxury of 18th century Venetian style. Composed of a custom number of hinged panels this handcrafted piece will be at home in a bedroom, living room or study as a room divider or stunning decorative accent.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind and crafted with utmost attention to detail, whose colors and decorations are completely customizable. In this case we chose to use an Aquamarine background color, evocking the blue and green hues of Canal Grande water in winter time, in contrast with the ochre chinoiserie design, a beautiful reminder of Marco Polo's adventure in the Far East, so in vogue in XVIII C Venice fashion and interiors.

About the Maker
Porte Italia Interiors
Porte Italia is very much a family-run company. One that has taken the innovative approach of enlisting an entire village to turn it into the unique and successful enterprise it is today. Today, the colors and rich decorative traditions of Venice still run in our veins. Using Venice-inspired colors, finishes and decorations, we are bringing old-world Italian handcrafted design and quality back to the new world order of modern interiors. You see, every region of Italy has its own traditional cottage industry. And for over 400 years, ours has been painting and decoration for the finest homes, villas and palaces in the world. All by hand. At Porte Italia, there is no factory. And no two pieces are exactly alike. Because every piece is still built, painted and gracefully aged to look as if it was born in 18th Century Venice.
Each Porte Italia creation is a bespoke masterpiece made to the exact custom specifications of designers from London, Paris, Milan, the US, the Middle East & India. And often in concert with other Venetian families whose companies have been in business since Marco Polo was a boy. We aim to re-discover the beauty of Venetian Craftsmanship and the flavour of long past traditions, making them available today for our daily use. Our missions is simply to make Art in the form of Furniture.
