19th Century Four-Panel Painted Screen of Birds and Bamboo

About

This fantastic screen depicts birds fluttering through forms of bamboo and draping flowers. Created with multiple sections of silver paper over wood, all decorative elements are hand-painted onto the surfaces. The hinges are double sided, so the screen can be displayed in various positions. There is minor edge wear to some of the panels, but it displays beautifully overall.
