Mahogany Fire Screen

About the Item

An exceptionally nice large early Victorian era Mahogany fire screen with a beautiful French polish finish. The original fabric is still intact but is worn in a few areas on each side and the entire panel insert slips out through the space opening in the top of the screen for replacing the fabric if required. One old repair to one of the legs but it is tight and solid throughout. Sitting on the original brass casters that roll freely. Excellent color and patina.
