Oak and Mat Black Steel Screen
About the Item
With its elegant hexagonal panels veneered with premium oak, and its discrete mat black steel hinges, the Severin Screen, designed by Alex de Rouvray, exudes style and character. As the light filters through its wood panels, the Severin Screen playfully reveals and hides what is hidden behind it. The hinges are in CRS steel, hand welded and polished, with a mat black powder coated finish. Each hinge attaches to the oak panels via a single hexagonal screw. The three panels are cut in beech plywood, and hand veneered in our workshop in Bucharest. Its high end materials and fine crafting give this designer screen a true feeling of quality. When fully open, the screen is 150cm in length and 7cm thick. When closed it shrinks down to 52cm in width and 11cm thickness. With a weight of less than 15kg, the Severin Screen is easy to manipulate and move around: create a cosy corner in your room, or a sheltered reading area in your salon.

Wood panels can be veneered with oak or american walnut. Steel hinges can have a mat black powder coated finish or a rough steel finish.
