About
Interesting early 20th century German steamer trunk belonging to George Jurgen Wittenstein (1919-2015) who was part of the white rose nazi resistance group in 1942. The trunk was made in Kongsbak Kofferfabrik Germany. The trunk still bears his initials and has a distressed black fabric finish with leather accents. Original hardware with later added chrome handles and lock plates. Would make a great coffee table. From his estate in Santa Barbara CA.
