About the Item

English necessaire travel case with silver and glass interior by William Neale & Son Ltd, Birmingham Crystal glass vials that are engraved and have a silver lid or a screw cap. The inside of each lid or cap is gold plated. 1 glass object has damage on the inside where the lid closes. A jewelry box in leather, a folder in leather for writing paper and envelopes. A boot knotter and a shoe spoon with silver handle The folder of the manicure set has no interior on the inside. 3 pieces of the manicure set with silver handles. Brushes and mirrors that are in the lid of the case and are made of silver The interior of the case is in good condition, but has some traces of use. See details in the pictures The exterior of the leather case is in a beautiful condition, including with original protective cover There are initials on the cover and on the copper fittings of the suitcase The silver is dated 1924 and made by William Neale & Son Ltd Birmingham, as well as hall marked with the Dutch hallmark ZI, which is first 925/000 purity of silver The total weight is 8 kilos The size is 40 cm high, 46 cm wide and 19 cm deep.

    A mid-19th century lady’s travelling dressing case. The case is constructed in a finely marked coromandel, with inset brass handles and brass guard bands to the angles.
