Spanish Leather-Wrapped Domed Coffer with Brass Accents from the 19th Century

About the Item

A Spanish leather wrapped wood trunk with brass and nail-head accents from the 19th century. This antique coffer from Spain has a rectangular-shape with domed top. The body and top are decorated with studs, creating floral and star shapes, and a nicely outlined frame. Brass wrapped accents adorn the front, adding interest and a nice contrast to the warm leather. The four sides have an arched skirt line and this piece is raised upon petite bun feet. This Spanish 19th century leather-wrapped chest with brass accents will make a lovely decorative storage piece, perhaps in a bedroom or living area to hold blankets or family board games.
