An Andre Sornay modernist oak coat & hat stand
A beautifully simple 1940s Andre Sornay wall mounted hat & coat stand. Designed of juxtaposed geometric forms, centred around five upright floating disks reminiscent of the forms of an El Listsky supremacist painting.
Rooted in the language of Art Deco design and primitive Cubism this piece is Sornay at his modernist best.
