Article: Bauhaus umbrella stand Origin: Germany Age: 1950s This original vintage Bauhaus style umbrella stand was produced in the 1950s in Germany. The brass colored top elements is made of aluminum, the heavy metal base element is made of cast iron. The base stand is in its original yellow lacquer tone, due to the age lacquer loosing spots and patina, some rust underneath the stand. Straighforward and minimalistic design of the Bauhaus design era. This item is a wonderful addition to every modern home. The design is reminiscent with the design of Hagenauer, Auböck etc. Dimensions: Height 37 cm Length 31 cm Depth 16 cm Condition: This item is in a good vintage condition with normal traces of use and a wonderful patina of over 60 years. Some rust underneath the stand.
